Thanks for the answer but I can't understand the meaning of the phrase about the ACK. Does it mean I ve to wait for an ack or not?
have I to send a clock pulse beetwen bytes or not? How have i to set data line while I'm sending the ACK clock pulse? I' can't display anything and I've tried to turn off the backlight with the Command but Nothing...
Have i To set something on the display to operate with I2c. I've seen a 10*2 header at the top of the board.... Have I to set jumpers or something else..?

Thanks a lot
Please help me

We follow the Phillips I2C protocol except for ONE exception, regarding the read/write bit. Please consult the Phillips I2C documentation
