What is the Best Way to Mount My VFD2041?

I just received my new VFD2041 which I plan on attaching to a plastic box, along with some switches and lites.

After I cut a hole in the plastic box for the display to peer through, I am not sure how to attach the VFD to my box.

Should I buy some longer screws and replace the four screws in the corners that hold the two boards together? And then drill four holes in the box and attach it with these screws. If so, what size are these screws?

Or should I glue the VFD to the plastic box?

Or is there a better way? I would rather that it didn't fall and break itself.

Thanks

I have used M3 screws for this before, longish ones are pretty easy to come by, or if you want the most stylish look possible, try out http://www.fastener-express.com/subcat.asp?0=218 for some anodized fastener.

I made a template from the mechanical drawing to place the holes exactly, since you've already placed your cutout it will be a little trickier, but I'd probably line up the display, then use a scratch awl or similar pointy object passed through the mounting holes from the back side to mark where the holes need to go for the screws, then drill from the back.

For a completely stealth mount, you could epoxy (or even just hot glue) the screw heads to the back of your bulkhead.
