lcdc hotkey help

ok I would like to setup a hotkey to turn the backlight on/off


I don't have the option of on and off both just one or the other...

Cheese told me to use the command Backlight on/off


I do that but it doesn't work?

any help?

You should be able to set up One event using one hotkey to the event "DSP->Backlight On/Off" which will toggle it (providing you have the latest version as there was a bug in .20 I think).

I use LCDC 1.02 build22 on a GLK12232-25sm and backlight off doesnt work for me
it works fine from the test area in configuration panel, but wont work @ all from the events ....

Yes work fine in mogd

but if u look @ my post in the hardware forum you will see this is only a minor problem for me right now ...

Backlight OFF actually works if i trigger it w/ a keypad press, but it wont if i trigger it w/ an on_finish event ... its very weird ... backlight intensity has no effect in the lcdc configuration (tried it coz i thought intensity 100% in the config was actually the problem for my on finish event ... making it bright whenevr lcdc was on) .... that backlight problem is probably more a problem for mat to solve though...

I noticed something i hadnt seen b4 on my LCD .... maybe its me but i think its getting black on the right side where the led is ... cant see the led from where i am since its mounted into my comp but i dont think that black patch was there ... still works though

that patch dissapears if i turn backlight off but comes back i turn backlight on .... a shadow ? the thing is i hadnt noticed it b4 ....

The GLK at present does not have back light intensity capabilities, only on/off. I have an event "SYS->On Finish" "DSP->Backlight Off" which works correctly
