What is the lifetime of a VFD compared to a LCD?
As you can see here, it looks as if the BLK202A isn't made for the VK202-25, but does fit nevertheless. There is some space right next to the last characters of the VFD. Or is this just a visual illusion?
If not, is this fixed in the MK2021?

Thanx in anticipation

The BLK202A uses a B202A bracket, if you want a PC Bay insert and a VK202-25, just get the BVK202A...

The MK2021 is not a insert, but a guide to help you mount the LCD/VFD where ever you want.

OK
But how's with the lifetime? Can it be on 24/7?

both are rated for about 100,000 hours... but on the VFD you cannot leave static text for more then 6 hours at one time, with out refreshing or clearing or changing the text.
