i run 2 psu`s.is it okay to run my lcd off the second psu.i turn it on before powering my sytem on,and turn it off after i have shut comp down.i run my enermax for my main components-hdcdromcdrwbaybusmob etc.2nd psu is used for other fans and cathode.what will happen is when main unit shuts down lcd will still be on till i power it off separatly.thnx

I'm no expert, but i can't see a problem.
Your LCD will stop receiving a signal from the serial port when you turn off your no.1 PSU. So the LCD will go to the startup screen stored in it's ROM.
The only danger is if your forget to turn off the second PSU, you could burn your screen out quicker by leaving the backlight on for long periods of time.
Thought I would reply to your post as no-one else bothered.
P.S wot sort of a modded case have you got, if you need that much power dude!!!!!!!

The average life on a backlight on a LCD is 100,000 hours, so I wouln't worry... Other then that... Wilbo456 covered everything...
