just a quick question but is it safe to leave the backlight on all the time ? as it does warm up slightly ....

if not how do i say turn it off after X mins ?

read the manual.. but don't really understand it.

I leave my dead LCD on all the time, it gets very slightly warm, but nothing dangerous. But as I said, mine is a dead one and all it does is backlight.

The backligh is rated to 100,000 hours +/-

so should i change the timeout when backlight turns of to less mins ? or just leave it ?

I leave it in because there is no point in taking it out, since it is cut into my case, it just is a big hole there without it. Besides, it makes a good nightlight, and who does not use a nightlight.

The GLK24064-25-CCFL is the bigest night light I have ever used... :grin: You can read next to that thing!!
