Alternative to LCDC? It's been 6 years with no updates

Title says it all. I'm looking for something that is a bit newer and supports some of the newer features in windows, like the volume mixer.
Suggestions, anyone?

Hello Unbwogable,
Unfortunately, all LCDC style monitoring programs are created by parties other than Matrix Orbital. So while I definitely agree that LCDC in particular is in need of an update, our influence is limited in third party projects.
For an alphanumeric display, you might check out
LCD Smartie which has seen some updates more recently. Alternatively, the GX is an option in the graphic direction and the
LCDStudio software driving that display has also been updated more recently than LCDC.
