Im looking at the LK204-25PC kit with Double Drive Bay Insert with Cables, does this come with a keypad overlay?

Nope, there is no keypad overlay for a double bay insert yet... one isn't too far down the hill though :grin:

You can always put it in a standard bay insert and add some buttons yourself (just normal momentary contact push-to-make switches).

how do you setup just push-button switches? where the pins are layed out on the PCB is it like each set of 2pins are one switch?

Oh ok found this I drew,

The row of nine round holes and one square hole at the top are the ten pins on a 25 keypad capable mo lcd.

You short one pin from the left hand side of these ten pins (from the first five) - correcponding to a row, and one pin from the right hand side (last five pins) - corresponding to a column. So that's how you get 25 keys out of a 10 pin header :smile:

If you only want or need 5 buttons, you can do the easy thing and just wire the five pair, starting in the center of the connector and working out... like this:

V Q M I E E I M Q V

The letters are what you get for input with that pair.
