I ordered (and received) my graphic display from MO. I'm now trying to design how I want my buttons to layout. I have a fairly good idea on what LCDC can do, but I'm looking for some examples of what other people have done. WinAmp buttons are obvious, but what about up, down, right, left, for scrolling through menus. Is that possible or necessary?
Please respond back with suggestions or layouts of buttons that you have done with LCDC. Also, pics would be great too.

I have a similar question, I want to setup a little mp3 box with the shuttle sv24 mini box and an lcd to show winamp stuff. I want to be able to control winamp via the lcd though. I know some come with keypad options, and some it say it works with an at keyboard, but what does that all mean? Is there a link or something where someone who doesn't have all the experience can get some general info on how keypads work? I can't remember if i saw something about keypads in LCDC or not. Anyone have any suggestions?

LCDC doesn't have an in LCD menu system yet... one should appear at some point though - I've badgered mat about it enough.
LCD Center has some similar to what you want - though it's not brilliant.
Try some of the dos based mp3 plugins (see the 'cool uses' section of the main site) - I've never used any of them but I'm sure they can help you

...and there's nothing wrong with dos for an mp3 player.
Cheers,
r.

Yea, i was thinking about using DOS because it would boot really quickly, but i went with me, the faster booting member of the 9x family. I wouldn't be able to get all the keypad and lcd stuff working right in DOS.
