Just been wondering, as most 4 lines won't fit into a single 51/4" drive bay (Lian-Li PC60) and the 2 line ones are therefor the only ones left, would it be possible to produce a 3 line display?

Thereby getting something that should? fit into the 51/4" slot, and getting an extra line of text

What you say MO guys

regards

Umm no one makes lcd's for the specific prupose of putting them in a pc bay... it's just finding the best one that fits.

Mo don't product the lcd's themselves, just the controllers

122x32, you'd need a 10 pixel high font, then a width of 8 would only give you 3x15 - I think the standard 4x20 is a lot better

Nothing stopping you though, anything is possible with lcdc, buy the glk-12232-25-sm, put it in a sinlge bay and play

Hrm, probably computer science/engineering people that count in powers of 2... So, there should be 2,4,8,16,32 etc line LCDs available, with the number of spaces on each line also being a power of 2. Ok, not quite, most of them have 20 or 40 spaces on a line, but it was a good theory while it lasted.
