Hi all, First post here.

I'd like to get a 20x4 display in case, but I only have a single drive bay available. Due to the relatively large circuitry I can't fit it in. I do believe it is possible to use my 2x 3.5 floppy bays to fit this size LCD in. Since no one uses floppys anymore, this isn't a big loss.

The questions...
1. Has anyone done this? Did it work? Any hints?

2. Is it possible to readjust the posistion of the LCD with respect to circuitry so that I can have the LCD display topmost in my bay insert instead of centered? (Does that make sense, I could draw an ascii picture). This way I can have the display on "one" panel and buttons on the other. But for all practical purposes it will be one panel behind.

3. How do you do/get the nifty soft push buttons that are on the MO bay inserts for the key pad? Instead of bulky self installed push buttons.

Sorry for the list of questions. Thanks in advance.

Thanx AW3k, I had the same exact idea as you had with mounting the display in 2 3.5 bays. I was scratching my head all day trying to think of a way to mount in on the brackets. I'm going to try to fit a VFD2041 in there.
