I know this may sound newbie but:
As far as the power connector I've noticed that the displays can take 5v but what if I use a 4 pin molex to 3 pin floppy connector I mean I know it runs 12v through it would'nt that damage the display since I'm essentially hooking it upto a 12v line. Probably have to get the extended voltage model.

Second Question are there any LCD's that are bigger then what matrix or crystal offers?
I mean as big as the one thats found on the sony MX series desktops those look like they're about 2.5-3" high X 3.5-4" long. Sounds pretty odd but that seems to be a nice size. I found a nice one about that size BUT it was a touch serial LCD costing about 995 bux.

Thank you,
Thomas Z

We offer from 2x8 to 4x40 alphanumeric displays... so if you have room for a 4x40 and can mod your self a install all will be good...

The only time you connect +12V to the display is if the LCD is WIDE VOLTAGE model! So if you are using this in a computer I would recomend a Wide VOltage LCD.

Thank you!!!!!!
Yeah I figured the WV model is the way to go in this case since I'd be hooking the 12v line up to it (with a floppy power connector of course). As for the large lcd I doubt anyone makes it in a serial interface.

The large graphical one seems nice to mount on the case.
