As the LK204-25-PC has 2 pcbs, I was thinking of separating them.. and put the connector-pcb inside the comp, but will there be any big delays then? or is it like having a bit longer serial cable? why I want to do this is because it's too thick to fit behind the chieftec chassi front door right now.. if there's gonna be delays, I'll have to desolder all pins and connectors, and put them on a custom pcb or something.

We have in the past did something similar to a few of our OEM customers. It is possible to seperate the two PCBs and connect them with a ribbon cable for example. I would keep it as short as possible. Also, please note, you will void your warrantee if you do this
