MX4 Displays right to left, bottom to tp

Hi all,
Sorry if this has been asked before, I did not see it in a search of the forum. My MX4 series LCD display had been working fine, then suddenly started displaying the text left to right and bottom to top. IOW the right characters are being displayed and in the correct orientation, just in the wrong order and on the wrong lines on the display.
The display was originally driven by lcdproc on linux, but for purposes of testing, I loaded the windows drivers and ran the test programs (boot screen for example) and they are giving the same results.
Stranger still, before I started running the windows test programs, on initial power-up, the "Matrix Orbital MX4" identification would display correctly. Now that is displaying right to left and bottom to top as well.
I do not see a command in the manual which allows inverting the display in this manner.
Is my unit fubar, or is there a way to fix this.
Thanks,
Eric
