Problems using keypad with LK162-12

hello,

Ive attached a 12 key matrix style keypad to the keypad interface connector. Unfortunately, two of the keys do not work. This is the result of the LCD board not recognizing a short between pins 1&4 and also between pins 1&7. To ensure that this was not due to a faulty keypad i used jumpers to simulate with the same result. Other than this, the other keys work as desired. Any suggestions?

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear that you are having a problem with your LK162-12. Try re-mapping the keypad (See section 9.9 Assign Keypad Codes in the manual). If the unit is still dropping the same keys after you re-mapped it, contact customer service at support@matrixorbital.ca and request an RMA.
