Typhoon - black aluminium or, brushed black alumium?

I've looked through reviews and photos and can't really see the finish on the Typhoon? In some shots it looks like brushed black aluminium, and in others it looks like just matt black?
Is it basically akin to the silver finish, but in black, so it would go with a Lian black case? ie: brushed black alumium?
