I am not able to send any text to the display. The keypad returns keypresses to my terminal emulator just fine. I have the com settings to 19200 N81 no flow control. The screen did work once on the second PC I tried it on, but stopped just a few minutes after. The display does show the startup screen. I have tried one other cable that is known working, and I still get the keypad information back to my pc, but nothing from the pc to the display. I have tried the display on 6 com ports on 5 different computers.

do a manual over ride on the display (see manual).. then try again with the above settings... sound slike the speed and contrast may have chnaged and saved into memory.

Just make sure to use the speed program and contrast save program to save the setting back into the memory.
