Oh boy, where to start....
Lets start on a positive note I really like the idea of the application, however implementation *ouch*....
1) The Gui is incredibly confusing, what do you mean I can't change my LCD Resolution when the 'file' menu (that really doesn't have to do that much with files) is open?
2) I kept losing my work no idea if I clicked on a wrong button or its just bugs but once in a while my work area just turns all while again, while just clicking on the measure tool or something other harmless looking icon
3) Conversion from Color to Black and white looks horrible, tried
this picture of the space shuttle after turning it to black and white the shuttle was sadly nowhere to be found.
4) I would have liked to share the result of 3 but I can't figure out how to make it save a bmp. But for reference here's what our
FREE mogd# tool for the
GLK series produces with the same input picture.
5) I close the application, Popup shows
---------------------------
Confirmation
---------------------------
Did you save your artwork and table of constants ?
---------------------------
OK Annuler
---------------------------
Weird choices for a Yes/No question but hey, lets pick OK no and see what it does.
6) New popup pops up
---------------------------
Confirmation
---------------------------
Quit bitmap2LCD without saving your artwork ?
---------------------------
OK Annuler
---------------------------
Sooo if you already know I didn't save, why did you ask me 5 seconds ago? Also I assume the Annuler is probably meaning to say 'Cancel'?
7) I couldn't help my jaw falling to the floor *SERIOUSLY*!?
155 Euro's for a black and white version of mspaint with confusing gui that doens't even convert color pictures pictures that well? *WOW* you might want to rethink that, You can pickup a copy of Vista for about 100 euro's nowdays does your application really add that much value to justify a 155 euro pricemark? I very much doubt it.
In in all nice idea but you still have plenty of work to do before its anywhere near remotely usable, keep working on it!
