LK202-25-WB works with uProject, but not Hyperterminal

We've purchased a LK202-25-WB for our senior project and it works with Matrix Orbital's uProject, but not Hyperterminal. This worries me, because we will be using it with a Rabbit controller.

I looked at the output of uProject on the serial line with Hyperterminal on another PC and it looks the same as what Hyperterminal sends out. Does uProject do something that Hyperterminal doesn't?

Thanks for your question, sorry to hear that you have been having some trouble connecting to your display using Hyperterminal. From the problem you have described, it sounds like the Hyperterminal port settings are not set up correctly. Make sure you have it set to the correct baud rate, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, and most importantly, no flow control, rather than the default hardware option. I have a feeling that flow control may be on, and turning it off as described should fix the problem that you have been experiencing.
