Hi everyone, I am in the process of interfacing a keypad to GLK24064-25 (PCB2.0) LCD. I would like to know if, I reduce my rows and column matrix to 4x5. How to do I assign new key values to each keys.
Can anyone please help.

Hi Raja,

I'd be happy to help you interface your GLK24064-25 LCD to that 4x5 matrix keypad. First, the keypad must be connect correctly to the LCD board. The row and column lines must match those on the board, for you this means that the first keypad row should be connected to the second row pin on the board, which essentially means aligning the keypad header with the first pin, then moving it one position to the right before connecting it. Basically, you will need to center out your keypad into the keypad connector. Second, to change the values of the keys, the command 254 213 [Kdown] [Kup] can be used (it is found in section 9.9 of the GLK24064-25 manual

Thank you for your question Raja, I hope that this has helped answer it.
