I have just purchased a case that I want to make a htpc from. The manufacturers of the case say it supports a LK204-25 and I have found those here and that seems fairly straight forward. I'm hoping I can get one that plugs into a usb header on the mb?

I also want to have a remote control for the pc. Do I need to take this into account when looking for a lcd panel? I have seen them bundled together in some places (eg IMON). Can anyone suggest a remote that will work with the LK204-25. Is there something available on the site that I just haven't come across yet? (I have seen remotes available on this site but only with a 5.5" panel which will not fit the case)

Thank you for your post. Currently we do not have a product that will work with a remote and the poduct you have listed is a serial display and ccan not therefore plug into an internal motherboard header. If you wanted a USB display you would need to look at the LK204-25-USB display version which comes in 5 different colors.

Now after letting you down nice and easy it is time to prop you back up if you could wait to purchase for roughly one month.

I am not sure if you have heard but Matrix Orbital is planning on releasing a Graphic bay insert like our MX series. The GX Typhoon will be a graphic display as mentioned. The unit will come with a remote, fit into a single drive bay (5.25), and will come with software (which works with windows vista).

We are hoping to possibly take pre orders in the first week of April.

Just a suggestion but you may want to look at alternate cases which support a smaller display then a 20 character by 4 line display.
