The majority of our LK/VK/PK units come with the available option of a voltage regulator that will allow you to supply the unit with between +9 to +15V, instead of just the standard 5V.

If you have a unit on your hands, and you are supplying 5V to it and you get only blocks showing up, like '5V to -V.JPG', or you are simply wondering wether it might be a -V. Flip the display over and check it because it if you find a voltage regulator, then you know you have a -V display and you must ensure that you supply it with +9 to +15V. However, unfortunatly if you supply 12V to a non -V display, you will fry the chip.
