Hi im using this lcd for an engineering application but sometimes the display freeze up, might this be caused by a collision problem on the RS232 Communication?

Thanks for posting on the forum.
Can you please give more details on how the module freezes up? Is this something you can reproduce and so I may be able to give it a try on my end here? You mentioned something about RS232 collision, are you doing something non-standard with the module?

Sometimes strange characters appear or stay showing the last displayed information and de keypad does not respond... the refresh rated is about 3ms and Im not using the display buffer, So the display is on the auto transmit keypress off mode.
