Hardware SCI Bypass

Hi,
I have an LK204-25 (rev.23) and would like to run it with the serial communication option. I am interfacing it to an HC08 microcontroller. Is the schematic for the PCB available for public access?
I only need the TXD and RXD pin location from the PIC micro on board to the 232 communication IC. I would like to connect the SCI TTL signals to my controller board instead of going from RS232 to RS232, and wasting money on the interface circuit.
Please let me know. Or if you have the Datasheet for the 232 IC onboard, I can pin it out and find it. The marking on the IC I have is faded, and I would not like to take a guess at what it could be.
Thanks,
HSE
