Researching an LCD project, looking for a large-ish LCD with USB connectivity, no need for any outputs or fan controll. I noticed the 4-line units I've found on this site, and the graphical units, are all D-sub 9 RS 232 controlled, and not shown offered with USB connection.

Does MO currently offer any 4-line LCD, or Graphical LCDs (my preference, but there is no forum for GLC and GLK units) with USB conectivity? Are there plans for USB connectivity for these types? The units that have caught my eye thusfar are the LCD2041 units and the GLC or GLK 24064.

Hi gdmaddog,

Thank you for posting on the forum.

Currently there isn't any available USB graphical displays, but there will be USB graphics units available later on down the road though. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

A 4-line LCD with USB connectivity will be the LK204-24-USB. For more detailed information on the LK204-24-USB, you can refer to the manual at http://www.matrixorbital.ca/manuals/LK_ ... 04-24-USB/

If you have anymore questions or concerns, please feel free to post them.

Best Regards,

What are the physical dimentions of the LK204-24-USB, including thickness of the entire unit?

I am trying to determine how much clearence, specifically thickness, this unit will require when installed, with USB cable attached.
