Hi, ok, i read an old post saying XP 64 didnt work with these displays . Has anything changed, or has anyone managed to get it to work ?

I have a MX 432, and im wondering. I didnt install anything yet, as im building a completely new system. By plugging fans into the unit, what do i achieve ? I assume it can display rpm, but can it control fan speed ? Or will i still need a fan controller.
If it does run them, anything wrong with me attaching say 3 fans to 1 port ? So i can control all in 1 go for my Rad for example.

Thx for ur time

Hi RKK Rom,

That was an old post saying XP 64 doesn't work. However, we have obtained a driver a while back that will work with Windows 64. You can download the driver at http://www.matrixorbital.ca/drivers/

The unit can control fan speed, and it can also display rpm. You can attach 3 fans to 1 fan header, but you must make sure you don't exceed the maximum power rating at 12V and 1000mA . You won't be able to control the 3 fans independantly in one header. They will act exactly the same way you set them until you put them in a different header. A cable you will use split fans on a header is a 3 Pin Y splitter found at http://www.matrixorbital.com/product_in ... an-cooling

If you have anymore questions or concerns, please feel free to post them.

Best Regards,
