Hello, i have a PC tower with the power on/off/reset buttons and indicator lights on a
removable bay insert. Would it be possible to replace this with an MX series usb w/ 7 button bay insert and have the keypad execute power/reset functions?

I know the Xtalfontz products can, but the 'instructions/howto/support' is abyssmal for someone like me, and i'm having serious problems setting it up.

If i ditch the Xtalfontz product could i replace it with some configuration from M.O.?

There are functions that are used for powering down or hibernating your pc in the software used on MO mx series displays. The software can even have the pc shutdown at a certain time in the day. The software is called lcdc. It's a powerful peace of software that utilizes plugins to display information on the lcdc screeen. You can even have plugins of your favourite media devices such as winamp. The display can even display the spectrum analyser that is played on winamp.

You get plenty of support on MO dislays from this forum, lcdc forums, www.matrixorbital.ca website, and from support@matrixorbital.com .

Yes you could ditch the Xtalfontz product, and a high quality Matrix Orbital display.
