MX 212 display problems

Post by Silent Ted »

Hi, I have had an MX 212 installed in my system since October last year with very few problems. Recently I upgraded my version of Windows to 64bit, and was able to install the 64 bit drivers found here in the forums.

However, today when powering up my comp. all I get from the unit is the backlight coming on, no text or graphics. I have tried several solutions to no avail:

Unplugged and reconnected the unit, no change.
I can control the backlight intensity and the contrast.
The virtual display in LCDC shows the correct screens, and when the certain screens are displayed the buttons on the unit still work.

Can anybody tell me wtf is going on? I'm a little confused and frustrated by this to say the least.

Thanks for your help.
Ted

Hi Ted,

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers?

Ted,

When you plug in an unmodified floppy power, do you get the startup screen turning on?

Tom,

No, all I get is every single pixel in the display turning on instead of having the Matrix Orbital splash screen.
