I have purchased the LED Indicator Bus and have the MX232 Display. I see that the plug will not fit and the forums indicate that I will have to make my own cable. Any info on how this is done?

Hi,

Thanks for posting at the forums.

If you speaking about the LED Indicator Bus found on http://www.matrixorbital.com/index.php?cPath=12_18 , then it will fit perfectly on the MX232. There is a cable and instructions that come with the indicator bus. The bus connects to the cable, then the cable connects straight to the low power GPO. The bus will fit unless you have a LK202-24-USB rev 1.0 . Which board revision do you have?

I have the MX232 USB. It has 6 GPO headers on the back right above the High/Low power jumper. The connection on the cable end only has 10 pin sockets and will not fit.

You must have the have the old MX232(LK202-24-USB) revision. The LED indicator bus fits on LK202-24-USB revision 1.4 or higher. You will definetly need to make a cable for this revision.

If you email me at tlam@matrixorbital.ca, I will send you the manual for this revision. It will explain to you in more detail on what you can do with this revision.

Best Regards,
