Hi James,
Thank you for posting at the forums.
You can purchase a unit at our UK distributor at
http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/Displays.html . They don't have all of our inventory, so if they do not have what you are looking for, you have to purchase the unit from us.
If you considered getting the LK202-24-USB-GW, you may want to get it as a MX231 because it comes with a LCDC key. If you wanted to get it seperate, then you will need to purchase the key at LCDC at
http://www.lcdc.cc/purchase.htm . LCDC is a popular software that controls the display. You can use it in conjunction with several plugins like winamp plugin, or windows media player plugin. With these plugins, LCDC will send information to the display like the winamp spectrum analyser. For information on LCDC you ca go to
http://www.lcdc.cc/about.htm .
If you do no want any fan outputs, then you can get the LK202-25-GW. This is one of the differences, where the LK202-25-GW doesn't come with a fan output. You won't also be able to put on a TX and RX LEDs either. The LK202-25-GW has a maximum of 25 key input, and the LK202-24-USB has a maximum of 24 keys. The LK202-25-GW has 6 low power GPOs and the LK202-24-USB has 3. Of course there is a price difference. The usb version will be slightly more expensive. For more detailed information on the units, you can refer to their manuals at
http://www.matrixorbital.com/files/LK202-24-USB_02.pdf and
http://www.matrixorbital.com/files/LK202-25.pdf .
If you have anymore questions or concerns, please feel free to post.
Best Regards,

Ok then, is it possible to get the MX211, but without the buttons on the front?

Hi James,
Why not get the
MX231 instead? it's a black aluminum overlay, no keypad, but has the rest of the features of the MX211. If you do not want the black aluminum, you can buy the display seperate, get the
LK202-24-USB-GW,
B2021-BK (which is the bay insert, using black vinyl) and if you want LCDC you will have to buy that seperate as well from the
LCDC website.

James,
If your against an overlay with a keypad, then the only MX2 series you can get is as follows: MX22# (silver aluminum overlay) and the MX23# (black aluminum overlay). Please see the following link for MX2 product reference:
http://www.matrixorbital.com/index.php? ... mx2-series All MX2 modules perform the same functions, however the part number distinguishes the difference in overlay and display color!!
If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to post!!

OK guys, thanks for your advice.
I'm gonna go with the MX211, and then replace the housing with the B2021-BK. I am going with the MX211 as it is the only one stocked by Kustom PCs with the display I want.
