MX 212 Problems

I just finished building a custom computer case and put the final touches on the computer with a MX 212 I loved how it looks. When I got the box it looked a little beat up and thought nothing of it. I connected the MX 212 and the custom display come up and then went away. The LCDC can not find the MX 212 but windows can. It lights up, but only when I set it for heavy load and connect a floppy connector.

Please help

Hi Snowflake,

Thank you for contacting the discussions forums.

Are the drivers installed and working properly? The display will still light up when the unmodified floppy connector is plugged in, but it cannot communicate unless the drivers are working properly. Check the device manager if the drivers are working properly. If they are not working properly, there will be an exclamation mark highlighted over driver in the "Universal Serial Bus controllers" branch.

You can get the drivers in the ecd that came with your display or you can download the latest ones at http://www.lcdforums.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1016 .

If you have anymore questions or concerns, please feel free to post.

:D

Best Regards,

Yes I have read that post before I decided to create a topic. All seems to be working well. I also looked at the display more closely and found one of the spacer between the screen and board was missing. I don't think the spacer has anything to do with the problem, but it looks like it was handled badly by the delivery service. If there is anything else I can do please post it, if not can Matrix Orbital do a test on it to make sure it is not the display itself.
Thanks, Snowflake
