Longer Internal USB Cable? (also a fan question)

I was recently able to install my MX322 VFD in my case after finishing my hybrid German-American water cooling setup; however, I have run into two small problems.
The first is as the title states... my internal 2' USB cable just barely reaches my MX322 with not another inch to spare, which does not allow me to do any cable management or hide the cable at all... something I very much dislike. Is there anywhere I could purchase a slightly longer internal cable, perhaps 3'? I have been searching google, but nothing is turning up like what I need, and I figured this would be a good place to ask.
My other problem, which I do not think can be fixed, and which is not directly the fault of the MO screen, is that my 120MM panaflo fans produce a squeaking noise if I use PWM with my fans. My original intent in purchasing the screen was to use it to dynamically quiet my fans down based on the load on the machine via LCDC, however the noise that the fans make when receiving pulsed 12v is unacceptable. I have followed mat-d-rat's suggestion in a previous thread as far as going into test mode via LCDC and changing the PWM frequency, however there is not a frequency that produces acceptable results, the fans either "squeek" or they spin up and down audibly. I suspect it could be the "hydro weave bearings" in the fans, but I have found running them at 7v produces sufficient airflow and keeps them quiet enough for me to tolerate for the time being.
If anyone, however, has experience with other 120MM fans that do not produce noise when using PWM, please enlighten me, as I would love to use them.
Thanks for any suggestions you may be able to provide as per the USB cable and fans
