MX222 problem

hi all, i bought my display a while back, about six months ago and kinda forgot about it. i installed it recently and plugged in the fan. at low speeds, the fan kinda makes a clicking sound... does anyone know what's the problem. i'm using a normal 80mm fan and have tried all 3 fan outlets.
on the back, it says it's a lk202-24-usb, rev 1.4
