MX2 something....Install driver isssues

Post by jonahjo »

Ok... I had this connect then it was on the shelf for awhile ... I now would like to hook it back up... problem I don't have a disk with the original drivers. I tried following the instructions in this for however now rather than the matrix orbital logo it is just a blank screen. when I plug in the screen it is not recoginzed and it can't be found in the device manager. I belive the links to the drivers online are dead or I'm looking at the wrong drives. The 1.1 only did an uninstall and did not add anything to my system.

Please help... I's sooo frustrated.

Thanks

The links to the drivers at http://www.lcdforums.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1016 are still active. Please try them again. You may need to delete the registry entries before reinstalling the drivers. The link above shows you where to remove the entries.

Hope this works out for you.

Best Regards, :D

I tried to install the 1.1 drivers... by running the .ini's when I tried updated through windows I got this error message???

"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)"

I uplugged the MX2
I deleted the FTBUS folder as asked ... rebooted ...
Installed the ftdibus.inf and the FTDIPORT.INF files...
Rebooted and then tried the auto detect and nothing.

.... I tried the everything I know...
The screen doesn't show up under the device manager???

Once again the disk I got with the unit was lost when I moved too... that used to work fine for me.

Any Idea's :-?

Can you try testing it out on another pc? I want to eliminate any possibilities that it may be the PC.

When you do install the drivers, the link at http://www.lcdforums.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1032 will show you how to install the drivers.
