ok, here is how it goes i won a mx212 at a lanparty, so ya know as most people would they would install it so i follow the directions and plug it in externally, well after i plugged it in i started up my pc, the screen turned on fine, well i get into windows and my usb mouse does not work anymore. so i shut my pc off and unplug the usb cord from the mx212 and start up my pc, no response from my usb, everything usb i tried to plug in doesnt work, did the mx212 kill my usb slots?

There is no way our units are capable of damaging your USB port. If there was a surge of current your computers USB port will turn off at 500mA, but it wouldn't be damaged, especially from our units.
