Unmodified floppy power cable

I just noticed on a paper i recieved with a vfd filter is says "do not under any circumstances use an unmodified floppy drive power cable" what does this mean? Does it mean that i cant use the floppy power cable on my psu?

Sorry for the confusion. You need to use the unmodified floppy cable to power up your display if you have an MX5 or if you want to use the high power GPOs. However, the unmodified floppy power cable SHOULD NOT be used on the non USB units.
