Quick question - i dont seem to be able to find the fan connectors anywhere to connect various items to the high powered GPO's.

Does anyone know where i can get these in the UK (maplins part number etc...) or any other types of socket i could use (if the pin layout is the same as another connector type for example).

Want to do some modding to make a bad  day better tonight

Cheers - Chris

What unit specifically are you talking about?

I believe it is the MX212 - bought about 4-5 months ago and has the proper headers for the standard fan sockets on the high power GPO's

They are molex products (i think the part no is in the instruction manual) and i have tried every where to find them in the UK, the only place you might find them is Farnell

i just delicately removed the headers off some old fans and used them for my CCFLs connected to the HP GPOs

EDIT: you can get them here! kustompcs

I can recommend these guys as i have bought from them many times before. These aren't cheap but there are uv reactive and if you bought the only header that maplin sell, it doesn't fit exactly and is

Thanks for that - i have used kustom before for my mo and was impressed with their service - didnt notice they had added the fan headers to their range.

Cheers.
