Hi,

I just purchased the LCD2041-IY. Powering via floppy cable (supplied) works fine. However, when I try to power using the serial cable (by shorting the "D" pad next to the db9 connector), I don't seem to get any power to the unit.

Is there something else I need to do to power solely from the serial cable?

This may seem like a crazy question, but are you actuallly applying power to pin #9? as the Serial port does not.
