Cannot figure out the MX2

I am new to LCD displays but I purchased the MX2 LCD and I am having a hard time figuring out how to get it to work. Need help!!!! When I launch LCDC it says it needs to be configured with the screen type and connection info. Would I like it to autodetect the screen and configure it now? I then click yes. I am at 1/3 and I hit next from there ( I have verified that my usb port works) I then get an error that states Registry error (win error code: 2). Cannot get past this stage at all. I even tried configure/test and I get an error stating Error reading ComComboBoxPort.ComProperty:registry error
Can anyone help?

This sounds like a LCDC issue during installation, drop by the lcdc forums at
http://www.lcdc.cc and ask there. Make sure the drivers are installed properly and maybe test the display with some of the software provided on the cd.
