Hello! If I plug an unmodified floppy power connector into the MX-221 unit, and I have 2 CCFL inverters and 2 standard 80mm fans to power using high power GPOs, is it better to:

a) split the output of one of the GPOs to power two inverters and use the other two GPOs to power one fan each
b) split the output of one of the GPOs to power two fans and use the other two GPOs to power one inverter each
c) neither - don't split the output of a high powered GPO (least preferrable, but would be good to know)

Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Hello...

The best solution of course would be not to "split" any of the high powered GPO's, however in this case you don't have any option. If I were you I would "split" one GPO for both fans, just make sure you check how much current they draw. Total current per high powered GPO is limited to 1 Amp. When connecting the fans, make sure they are connected in parallel rather than in series to optimize performance! :D
