LK204-24-USB-WB LCD and Abit KV8-Max3 motherboard

My old motherboard died last weekend, so I got a new Abit KV8-Max3 motherboard and Athlon64 processor. For some reason, my LK204-24-USB is not connecting to it. When I plug the usb cable into any of the usb slots, the screen won't even light up. I can plug it into a different computer right next to it, and the screen will power on. All of my other usb devices work fine on any slot.

I was wondering if anyone else had any problems with this board or problems in general going to usb 2.0? Thanks for the help.

Well, after much trial and error this weekend, I finally found a combination that works.

Disabling usb 2.0 in the bios, doing a fresh install of XP Pro, and then plugging the screen in before installing any updates got windows to recognize it. Hope this helps anyone else with a similar problem.
