Fan Rpm Monitoring

Hi!
Did a search but I didn't find the info I was looking for.

I have 2 temp probs that work great and had no problem using. I just hooked up a fan to my lcd display, but when I try to get a reading on the rpm's, all it shows is 'NYR'. Anyone know what that means?

I've double checked the wiring. It reads ok if I hook the fan to the motherboard and use MBM. And I also have a floppy connector hooked to it with the jumpers set to 12v. (default) The fan works and all, but I'm not getting an rpm reading that I can display on the lcd. :(

Uh, well, thanks for all the tips and help there guys. <cough>

I figured out how to turn it on/off with events and display the rpms. Now I just have to figure out if I can adjust the rpms of the fan while it is running.

Yes you can, sorry missed this one - probably better on the LCDC forums.
