Just installed my new glk12232-25 wbl,
using mogd software can connect to lcd but cannot upload any fonts,
when i use the clear screen function in mogd a letter P appers in top left then each time i press the clear screen i get another p untill there r 4 p then it starts again.

all so if i send txt to the display (Matrix Orbital Graphics Demo) i get
; # k (# is actualy a 7*3 pixal solid black box) or if i send test it returns K ; C.

allso have no controll over back light and the reset as in manual has no effect.

if i try and upload a font i get a .

Can you explain exactly how you performed the manual override...? From what you are explaining to me it sounds like a baud rate issue...

You were right it was a comms problem the fault was me trying to do the reset thing to quick there were no connectors in place so i used a piece of wire only it did not make contact properly ,

any way solderd wire in place done reset works perfect now
