Help!!! LK202-24-USB

Ok... Here is the full history of what I have done to try and get this display to work. Any help is greatly appreciated!
I just recently got this display 2nd hand. No software cd/cables/etc... I found the drivers after searching this forum. Found the USB drivers, installed them and the OS recognizes it. I downloaded the Universal LCD Software, and it couldnt find the display.
After searching these forums again, I discoverd the changing of types on the LK202-24-USB in the LCD DB from the default (0x02 i think) to 0x36. The LCD Tester now communicates w/ the display. Yet I still couldnt do anything with it. I read in these forums to place a jumper on pins 6 & 7, power up the display, then remove the jumper. That will reset the comm speed. I then made sure all the comm settings were set to 19200 (in all progs I used to try and communicate w/ the display and the sys). The LCD Tester was able to communicate with it. I am now able to turn on and off the backlight and turn up and down the contrast. That is it. Cannot put any text or graphs on it. I had tried LCDC and yet I cannot display any text. HyperTerm was config'd correctly (atleast I think it is config'd correctly) and yet it could not communicate w/ it. Just a blank screen.
The display itself looks as if all the character blocks are lit (every pixel turned on) yet I cannot clear them. I do not get a boot logo either.
I have tried looking for the Display Tuner and found links on these forums, but the links are dead.
This is my sys config:
P4 3GHz HT
1GB Dual Channel DDR Memory
WinXP Pro
Display connected thru USB A/B cable to USB 2.0 port Configed on Comm3
Thanks!
