I ran into these and thought they would make interesting keypads for people with MO LCDs who were wanting to add keypads with minimal effort.

2x8: http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bin/c ... type=store

4x4: http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bin/c ... type=store

They appear to be suitable for directly connecting to the keypad header. They're maybe a little small, but I think the first one will fit in a drive bay, so that's a good thing, right?

I have the 4x4 keypad. It works great. If you do get one, make sure to get all the connectors for it. Here's the list from Jameco.com.

Keypad side connector - 236398
Keypad connector pins - 248891
LCD side connector - 103190
LCD connector pins - 100765
Wire - 31878 (round wire) or 135538 (flat ribbon)
