Steady of repeating of a static message displaying, longer then 5 hours in a day may cause a phosphor burnout problem.

This from the manual.


How likely is this problem? If (for example) I use my display as a clock, will it cause problems? The first digit of the hours is there for about 10 hours at a stretch.

Will briefly clearing the screen every half an hour (for five seconds or so) make things better?
