How to configure Plugins?

I have Winamp3, Trillian Pro ,and Over Clockers Plugins... I have all the plug in enable and for the Winamp3 I have the WAC where it supost to be but when I play a song or use Trillian I dont see nothing display same with the Over Clockers Plugins... Only thing I see is the default screen displaying..
