I have a MX202, v1.0, and was wondering if it is possible to connect fans/cathodes etc up to the device. Has anyone had any success stories/failures with this set up?

Hello...

With revision 1.0, it is possible to connect fans, cathodes, etc. on high powered GPO's 4, 5, and 6. Assuming that you have selected the HP position on the PCB ,those GPO's will provide 12 Volts at 750mA. Please consult the LK202-24-USB manual for the pinout.

Thanks for the advice. I have set up at the moment 6 80mm fans (3 x 2 fans setup). Can the output be sufficient to power a Cathode? Or even 2? I'm not very knowledgable on electronics, so a simple explaination would be suffice :)

Each GPO can support up to 750 mA...you should have no trouble connecting a cathode with these electrical specs... :D
