VFD2041 Questions

Does this display show things like cpu temp, fan speeds, HD space and other items like that??

This unit will work just fine with LCDC using MBM as a plugin... ! Not to mention the vast number of other options such as email, weather, and a host of other plugins... If you are curious to what else LCDC can do, please see the following link:

hmmm.... looks good but just judging from screenies, i feel the 2x20 does more? Will the VFD do all that the LCDs do?

What are some of the good functions of the VFD if connected to a PC?

The VFD modules have the same functions as the LCD's...the reason there is fewer screens is because there aren't as many VFD users...

well, our most popular product right now is the MX2, it has a lot of features like fan speed control and so on, so we have been selling A LOT of those. The VFDs are also much more expencive as they are generaly used in extreme temperature applications, thus the extra cost. Over all, we have been selling more 2x20 displays to case modders than 4x20... this is probably going change somewhat when the new LK204-24-USB is released in the next week or so.

From what I've seen, I think you'll happy with your decision....We'll keep you posted for a release date...
