Hi, When i fire up lcdc, i get the error 'The LCD screen definition file has been tampered withor is not signed correctly. Cannot proceed.' Also, i have never had my mx2 working, even when the definition file was ok, all i get is a Matrix Orbital MX212 logo. When i try to audodetect, it says screen not found. Then when i try to send commands to it, it just displays wierd characters. Please help as this is the first lcd screen i have ever bought, and its turned into a nightmare. I'm thinking it could be faulty. The drivers are installed correctly. Please help =/

Hello...

In your device manager under Ports (COM @ LPT), as well as Universal Serial Bus Controllers, what is the unit listed as...?

My device manager shows: Matrix Orbital MX2xx USB Driver (COM3)
LCDC Won't pick it up, and any commands i send to the lcd just displays a random character for each command.

Can you tell me what revision of PCB you have...? It's located just beneath the USB cable...

First make sure you fully un-install LCDC and then delete the directory and install the newest version of LCDC 1.05.26 I belive.

We are going to try and perform a manual override...

1) Unplug the USB cable from the LCD.
2) Remove the keypad connector.
3) With C1 being pin 1, you must put a jumper on pins 6 & 7 (you can use the HP jumper for now).
4) With the jumper still on, attach the USB cable to the LCD.
5) Remove the jumper and run LCDC.

(if you need further information you can refer to the manual)

Let me know how you make out...

Place the keypad connector on C4...you should have 3 pins on the column side empty and 1 pin on the row side empty...
